"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever." - Jacques Yves Cousteau
I have always felt inspired by the forms, colours, and patterns of wildlife, especially those of marine animals. Combine that fascination with expertise in animal identification and an aptitude for drawing with meticulous detail, I started working on a series of drawing meant to capture the beauty and charm of some of the most wonderful creatures on earth. I am not working as a professional illustrator at the moment but I am definitely open to opportunities. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or are interested in a particular piece.
On the Other End of the Line
Illustrated Species Identification Poster
Illustration of some fish species that are often targetted in both commercial and recreational fishing. The different shapes and sizes of the species depicted here show just how frighteningly powerful—if not greedy—we are; how we take so many from the ocean, yet give so few to it. This piece serves as a reminder for everyone to respect nature; to appreciate what it has provided us with. All are ours for the taking, it is our duty to fish responsibly.
